We are seeking a Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Software Engineering who combines deep technical knowledge with hands-on technical expertise. This role is ideal for a senior software engineer passionate about building software at scale using cloud-native architecture, data engineering best practices, and modern UI development with React, while driving Generative AI adoption for business use cases within a SAFe Agile operating model. You will be part of large-scale engineering initiatives, work with top engineering talent, and actively contribute to solution design and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to architecture of scalable, high-performing systems using cloud-native architecture and proven design patterns.
Contribute to Generative AI adoption across product lines, leveraging Python, LLMs, and Agentic platforms and tools such as Google’s Vertex AI and ADK
Contribute to foundational frameworks across middleware and UI to accelerate development and reduce maintenance overhead.

Contribute to data engineering efforts, including:
Data modeling
Data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Batch and streaming data processing
Data governance (catalog/lineage) and quality engines
Big data technologies
Adopt AI-driven automation to accelerate SDLC and deliver business value.
Actively contributes to product requirements analysis and solution architecture.
Work on proof-of-concepts, design and development of critical components, and code reviews.
Implement foundational components across Java, Python, and React for enterprise-grade applications.
Champion AI-based code generation tools to automate repetitive engineering tasks.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years in software engineering, with hands-on experience
Proven experience implementing business use cases in Generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI integration patterns, Agentic AI).
Proven experience in cloud-native architecture and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
Deep experience in data engineering, including pipelines (ETL/ELT), data storage (warehouses, lakes), batch/stream processing, data modeling, governance, and big data technologies.
Clear understanding of SAFe Agile framework and enterprise-scale agile delivery.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, container orchestration, and observability tools.
Experience in large-scale financial services enterprise environments.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Financial Risk and Data.
Certifications in Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SAFe Agile.
Certification in AI/ML technologies such as Google ADK
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
