What do we do?

The Wealth Analytics team partners with senior business leadership to drive significant impact on initiatives that build and grow the consumer deposit and investment business. The team is responsible for providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to foster a sustainable and profitable customer base.

Core focus areas include:

  • Investment Growth & Leads Strategy: Developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for investment growth and leads generation, encompassing both new customer acquisition and maximizing value from the existing customer base. This includes optimizing Go-to-Market strategies, digital and traditional channel spend decisioning, and identifying market opportunities to drive portfolio growth across all product lines.
  • Branch & Network Analytics: Analyzing in-branch customer behavior, transaction patterns, and network performance and leveraging advisor and banker intelligence to optimize the physical footprint, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Pricing & Segmentation: Developing advanced pricing strategies and customer segmentation models to optimize profitability, drive competitive advantage, and tailor product offerings across various customer cohorts and business segments.
  • Customer Journey & Engagement Analytics: Measuring the performance of customer interactions with the bank. This includes analyzing the impact of new features, tests, and placements to create actionable recommendations that improve customer engagement journeys and digital acquisition effectiveness.

Role Description

The Lead for Wealth Acquisition Analytics will be accountable for shaping the strategic analytical agenda to build Acquisition Go-to-Market Strategy, optimizing digital acquisition and channel spend decisioning. This role is accountable to build and spearhead large-scale initiatives across multiple product lines, translating complex business challenges into data-driven strategies for driving value-based acquisition, loyalty, and growth. You will be the primary analytical partner for senior executives, responsible for delivering actionable insights that optimize the channels of acquisition. Your leadership will be crucial in building a world-class analytics team and fostering a culture of innovation to drive substantial value for the Wealth business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analytical Vision & Roadmap: Define, champion, and execute the strategic vision and roadmap, ensuring deep alignment with the Wealth business and profitability objectives. Translate business priorities into a clear agenda for the analytics team.
  • Insight & Delivery Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of advanced analytical projects, from hypothesis generation to the implementation of data-driven strategies. Ensure the team delivers high-quality, actionable insights that drive value-based acquisition and thereby improving customer retention, loyalty, multi-product penetration , and overall portfolio growth.
  • Executive Stakeholder Partnership: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with senior executives across the Wealth business, including product, marketing and digital leadership. Act as a trusted advisor, using data storytelling to influence key business decisions and strategy.
  • Talent Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analytics professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and strategic thinking to build a best-in-class analytics function.
  • Innovation & Advanced Analytics: Spearhead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and advanced analytical methodologies (e.g., AI/ML/LLM models, customer journey analytics, personalization engines) to continuously enhance customer understanding and engagement capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive seamless collaboration with partners in technology, data, and other analytics teams to ensure an integrated approach to data, tools, and insights. Ensure analytical solutions are effectively embedded into business processes and platforms.
  • Performance Measurement & Value Realization: Establish and govern the key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement frameworks used to assess the impact of marketing/ servicing strategies. Regularly report on the value, ROI, and strategic impact of analytical initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Analytical Governance & Scalability: Provide executive oversight on the architectural design and scalability of analytical solutions. Ensure that models, dashboards, and insights are robust, reusable, and capable of addressing complex, enterprise-wide business challenges while adhering to data governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline from a premier institution is highly preferred.
  • 14+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, having past experience in leadership roles managing large, complex analytical programs and teams.
  • Extensive experience within a global financial services organization is required, with a deep focus on Retail Banking, Consumer Finance, or Marketing Analytics.
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale analytical initiatives that have had a significant, measurable impact on business outcomes such as customer retention, portfolio growth, and profitability.
  • Deep expertise in the application of advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, customer segmentation, and AI/ML techniques. Experience with analytical programming languages and data manipulation tools. Familiarity with data visualization platforms and digital analytics tools is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of consumer banking products (deposits, lending, mortgage, small business, investments), customer lifecycle management, and the key drivers of banking P&L.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with C-level executives and diverse global stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business problems into a clear, actionable analytical roadmap and data-driven solutions.
