The Product Manager position is a responsible for managing a product and related sub-services and the related technology platform. In the network management team, the product is market intelligence and a main deliverable of this role will be responsibility for the development of Market Guide with plans, data, entitlements and platform improvements and connectivity in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of the intelligence product to further develop client relationships, win additional business and improve client experience.

Given that this role is under Network Management, there will also be a network management responsibilities for overseeing sub-custodians and financial market infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results

  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients

  • Assume due diligence and ownership responsibility for a number of markets in the APAC region for solutioning and communicating for Global clients

  • Act as an editor and publisher at market Guide

  • Contribute to oversight activities as necessary

  • ​Oversee all aspects of technology development platform build/ enhancement, particularly entitlements and data management for Market Guide.

  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans

  • Help drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage vendor relationships, and prepare agreements

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 7-8 years of relevant experience

  • Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business

  • Functional experience in marketing, product development, or analytics

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred
