The Client Onboarding Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility, including operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). The role applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through the provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise.
The Client Onboarding Manager is responsible for the volume, quality, and timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Motivate the staff through constant interaction with the team, monitor the team’s activities and workload to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all account opening functions and optimize process flows
- Responsible with the team performing customer interaction, documentation issuance, review, and system setups
- Perform day to day management of onboarding activities, including daily management of in-process, pended, and service-related activities, to support all scenarios and the delivery of very high-quality service to customers and internal partners
- Accountable for various types of project management in the onboarding space, and manage cross-functional relationships with all teams
- Determine new work procedures, analyze complex and variable issues with significant departmental impact
- Promote cross functional training for staff to enrich their skill base; support the planning and hiring of the right talent, including training, guiding, developing, and rewarding individuals; evaluate subordinates' performance
- Monitor customer satisfaction and service levels and drive process changes; provide innovative solutions to clients, and ensure a strong and robust processing environment with effective controls
- Cultivate excellent rapport with internal stakeholders, including peers and seniors, providing timely inputs to the team and ensuring prompt resolution of all issues; any business risks or matters requiring attention should be escalated to the appropriate senior forums for action and guidance
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in documentation review, preferably in account maintenance and related cash products; people management experience would be an asset
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal, diplomacy and communication skills, with a high level of diligence, motivation, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated project management skills, including financial cost management
- Advanced execution skills in a prioritization-driven environment, combined with the ability to achieve business objectives without compromising established controls and risk parameters
- Ability to partner with businesses and other support functions at senior levels in setting strategy and priorities, thrive under pressure and convert risk into opportunity
- Ability to coach, develop and retain talent
- Proficient knowledge of English; additionally, proficient knowledge of Bulgarian, Czech, Romanian, or Slovak is a strong plus (written and spoken)
