The Prod Ctrl Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Markets Reporting Controller team. The Markets Reporting team within Markets Controllers supplies the LFO, businesses, and other senior management with analysis and insight into financial results and projections. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making to drive performance in each of Markets products globally across lines of businesses. Reporting and Control Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for coordination of Markets results through the financial close, 10-Q/10-K, earnings and press release in coordination with Global Product Leads and the Markets Controller. The objective of this role is to provide support to ensure business/department financials contain meaningful commentary and to ensure proper review and sign-off of Markets Legal Entity and Segment results.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth industry knowledge towards the development of new techniques and improving processes or work-flow for the Finance department
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within Finance
  • Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations
  • Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and advanced networking skills to develop relationships across business and operational lines.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Advanced English Skills Require

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
