S2N is seeking a Technology Solutions Engineer to support the successful delivery of critical infrastructure and technology systems. This is a fast-paced role where your eagerness to learn and contribute will be key to building the technology that enables progress across various industries.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to Project Success: Assist in various stages of the project lifecycle from initiation through closeout. Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, track budgets and costs, and support project financial management.
- Support Your Project Team: Work closely with and support the Project Manager and other team members. Provide technical and administrative assistance, contributing to a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Manage Complex Technology Systems: Assist in the implementation and integration of technology infrastructure, which may include:
- Structured Cabling Systems (fiber optic and copper)
- Security Systems (access control, surveillance)
- Audio Visual Systems
- Engage with Stakeholders: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with owners, design teams, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Assist in communication and issue resolution under guidance.
- Ensure Quality & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of quality control and rigorously ensure compliance with industry specifications and standards.
- Assist with Project Administration: Help manage project documentation, including contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement processes, and correspondence.
What You'll Bring:
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar relevant technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a construction or technology-related environment.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong interest in technology and a desire to contribute to complex projects.
- Highly Preferred:
- Prior experience or internships in construction or technology systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, PMP, ASIS, CTS).
