Your role at Clorox:

As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will contribute to our Group Finance team by applying data science techniques and process automation, and supporting financial decision-making. This role provides an excellent opportunity to accelerate the adoption and proficiency of new Elevate systems (new enterprise and Finance tools) for the Finance function and H&H Group.

In this role, you will:

Visualization and Reporting:

• Create visualizations in Power BI (dashboards, charts) to communicate insights
• Support Finance function’s and H&H Group’s adoption of new Elevate systems by leveraging visualization and reporting tools
• Lead Group’s change management efforts by developing and conducting training to end-users; identify and implement enhancements to the new systems
• Design and develop regular reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Engage with cross-functional and project teams to lead improvements to new systems

Process Automation Support:

• Work on automating routine tasks using programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
• Gain exposure to optimizing data workflows and reducing manual effort
• Lead implementation of automation solutions for efficiency improvements

Data Preparation and Analysis:

• Gather raw data from various sources, prepare for analysis in usable format
• Collaborate with senior team members to identify trends and business insights
• Learn to develop basic predictive models

Database Maintenance:

• Support the maintenance of financial databases
• Learn to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility
• Assist in updating and validating data entries

What we look for:

• Knowledge of programming (Python, R)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) and Power Query
• Eagerness to learn and apply new skills
• Communication Skills:
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and project teams
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and remote team
• Be open to learning new technologies and processes
• Willingness to learn about financial concepts and regulations
• Analytical Mindset:
• Detail-oriented and eager to explore data
• Ability to learn complex statistical techniques
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or related fields
