Senior Materials Clerk

The Senior Materials Clerk responsibilities may include ensuring there is a consistent flow of complete and accurate outgoing shipments of Interventional Urology Medical Devices, supporting the supply of material to one or more manufacturing lines, and overall material handing responsibilities at the Burnsville, MN distribution center. This includes, including but is not limited to cycle counting, stocking/replenishment of raw materials and FG in stocking locations, and receiving of raw materials, MRO items and other various supplies to support Value Stream.
Major Areas of Accountability
General:
- Coordinate and complete Cycle Counts in assigned area per agreed frequency.
- Maintain accurate records to achieve and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
- Address and resolve business system issues with IT as needed.
- Crosstrain in other areas within the department.
- Operate forklift, power jack and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
- Promote continuous improvement.

- Other duties as assigned.
Shipping:
- Pick and packaging of Surgical product for global shipping.
- Prepare all documentation to support shipments and exportation paperwork as required.
- Process all shipments utilizing ERP system (E1).
- Perform Day End Processing (E1).
- Transport and store finished goods, replenish pickable locations and complete necessary transactions in E1.
- Process Returns from the field, work with Customer Service to resolve discrepancies.
Other duties as assigned
Receiving:
- Verify materials/products received match respective packing list and purchase order. Enter transactions into business system (E1), identify material and stage in designated area.
- Process all MRO incoming material and stage appropriately for distribution to respective employee.
- Process shipments to/from sterilization facilities and upon release from QC. Enter applicable transactions into business system.
- Prepare intercompany product shipments, process in business system and schedule with carrier for routing.
- Prepare and process all miscellaneous shipments as requested thru various departments within the company as required.
Material Handling/Production Support:
- Physically issue materials to manufacturing work orders and enter material transfers into the appropriate software application.
- Receive incoming materials from suppliers and enter data into the appropriate software application.
- Maintaining the Chemical Room including weekly inspections.
- Assist QC/RA, Purchasing, and Production in problem resolution (quality issues, material issue error, shipping problems).
- Ensure schedules and quality levels are met.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supply items supporting production.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 8+ years related warehouse experience in a medical device environment is preferred.
- Experience working with inventory management and shipping systems is desired.
- Ability to work with computerized business ERP systems and shipping systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to read and understand procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently and 75 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to Operate forklift, power jack and other material handling equipment-previous experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment

• Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $35,710 - $53,565. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
