Position Summary
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Coordinator will provide support for studies in asthma and cystic fibrosis.
Responsibilities
- Initiate IRB applications for clinical trials in asthma and cystic fibrosis.
- Recruit study participants via advertisements.
- Schedule and conduct study visits.
- Manage communication with participants.
- Perform data entry and ensure data integrity.
- Interact with study monitors and liaise with contracted institutions.
- Attend investigator and coordinator meetings.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical research
- Knowledge of pulmonary function testing and sweat chloride testing
Other Requirements
- Participation in the medical surveillance program
- Contact with patients and/or human research subject
- Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
- Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
