The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
The Research Associate will support a federally funded research project focused on evaluating patient-reported outcomes in cardiac care. The position emphasizes data management, analysis, and dissemination of findings. The role is well-suited for individuals interested in gaining experience in clinical research and applied data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and manage large-scale research data; ensure quality control and accuracy of study databases.
- Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses in collaboration with investigators and statisticians.
- Assist with literature reviews, background research, and preparation of study materials.
- Prepare tables, figures, and summaries for manuscripts, presentations, reports, and dissemination activities.
- Support regulatory compliance, including IRB submissions and study documentation.
- Collaborate with the research team to advance project deliverables and disseminate findings to academic, clinical, and community audiences
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or experience and experience in a health sciences discipline.
- Computer fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong character traits of reliability and responsibility
- Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision; Experience with vulnerable populations and certified training in HIPPA Compliance and Human Subjects protection is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
- Prior experience in research, academic projects, or healthcare settings.
