The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
This position serves as a technician for the eating disorders research unit in the department of Psychiatry. It is responsible for the primary operational support for studies, organizing research procedures, assisting in the collection.
Responsibilities
- Organize and implement standard operating procedures for patient screening.
- Conduct tailored initial screening calls with prospective research participants.
- Ensure participant safety during procedure such as urine and saliva collections.
- Manage data intake from multiple sources including clinician notes.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with laboratory meal studies preferred.
- Two years of experience in a research setting.
Other Requirements
- Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
- Ability to organize a large number of time dependent tasks.
