We are looking for an Associate Product Lifecycle Management (aka PLM) Specialist to join our R&D Team in Omaha, Nebraska!

Located along the Missouri River, our Omaha office is within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Join us for yoga or strength training classes offered at the onsite fitness center. Conagra's R&D facilities in Omaha are state of the art, including a large super lab, open benchtop space for prototype development, a top-of-the-line culinary kitchen, and a 50,000 square foot pilot plant.

As the Associate PLM Specialist, reporting to the Principal Business Analyst, you will support the ingredient specification creation and maintenance within R&D Food Design team. You will facilitate R&D ingredient data and information within PLM and ERP systems to meet R&D design and Food Safety & Quality requirements. You will work closely with the R&D Food Designers, along with Quality, Food Labeling, Regulatory, and PLM Commercialization teams to ensure the quality and alignment of ingredient specifications meet project objectives, business needs, and completeness. You will contribute to the continuous improvement and maintenance of ingredient data and information.

Position Responsibilities

  • Comprehend fundamental concepts of the end-to-end development and commercialization processes.

  • Maintain and update specifications, material master data and documents by entering acquired data into Oracle, SAP and other tools and systems.

  • Manage specification and sourcing approval workflows to key business partners, including Product Development, Quality, Labeling and Procurement.

  • Support incoming Plant Initiated Change Requests by completing master data changes to recipes and bill of materials (BOMs).

  • Ensure data accuracy while meeting designated Service Level Agreements.

  • Transfer knowledge on Oracle and SAP processes and transactions to team members and cross-functional partners.

  • Effectively use defined processes and technology to meet business needs.

  • Manage inbox requests from internal and external business partners.

  • Contribute to continuous improvements to workflow, procedures and tasks to provide more efficient processes.

  • Participate in designated technical and cross-functional project teams.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but experience related to food science or data experience may be considered in leu of degree.

  • 1+ years of business experience, preferably in food development, quality assurance, production, procurement or packaging development (internships and summer employment qualify toward experience).

  • Experience in data management, reporting and systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Familiarity with Oracle PLM, SAP and Winshuttle preferred.

  • Sound written and oral communications, change leadership and partnership skills.

We require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future.

This position will require being in the office 2-3 days per week, Monday-Thursday. Fridays are remote working days.
