Conagra Brands is seeking a Senior Director of International Supply Chain and Grocery & Snacks Contract Manufacturing to lead and direct the end-to-end operations for the International platform, ensuring profitability and industry-leading service to their customers. You will oversee approximately 1000 Conagra team members including 3 Conagra manufacturing facilities and multiple contract manufacturers across the Grocery, Snacks and International platforms. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President Supply Chain, Grocery and Snacks you will be a necessary driver and will have a significant impact on our competitive position and financial performance.

You Will:

  • Manage Operations and Planning with additional oversight of Health/Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehouse, Transportation, and Raw Materials activities for the business unit to ensure that products are produced and meet all established company policies, quality standards, and are within budget.
  • Work with and maintain relationships across all functional areas of the business to ensure that all activities are consistent with our and customer needs. You will search for and identify activities to improve line efficiency, safety, employee relations, work environment, quality, and training.
  • Be a liaison and Supply Chain partner for the International Leadership Team; engage and drive strategic plans and initiatives to achieve International platform ambition and growth goals.
  • Be responsible for both the strategy and daily cost management across the network and will direct the development and achievement of monthly, annual, and long-term strategic plans, and operational lean improvement initiatives related to the cost, efficiency, waste, safety, quality, and environmental management.
  • Achieve established objectives for mix, cost, yields, quality customer service and environmental health and safety.
  • Manage assets, facilities, and capital to ensure long-term profitability and viability.
  • Partner cross‐functionally with sales, manufacturing, distribution, and finance to establish a standard set of data inputs and provide overall coordination of resources and priorities.
  • Manage the relationship with and performance of the contract manufacturer partners for the platform including scheduling, production, project management, quality, metrics, case fill and attainment, reporting including SAP requirements, inventory reconciliation and compliance to all standards and requirements of the company.
  • Develop guidelines and rules for contract manufactures that are following company quality standards and regulatory policies.
  • Coordinate all activities and serve as a liaison between several platforms and other departments within the company and the contract manufacturer s to facilitate innovation, performance and productivity projects.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve performance. conduct regular operational improvement reviews with contract manufacturers to improve results in important KPI's.
  • Manage company assets at contract manufacturing sites according to contract.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (i.e. Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Operations).
  • 12 + years of best-in-class manufacturing operations experience with a proven track record of growth and progression; have led operations within manufacturing environments.
  • Balance the need to set long-term strategic direction with the need to operate at the floor level.
  • Experience with operational excellence tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and operational and capital budgeting.
  • Experience excelling in a large, global matrix organizations.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to interact with an executive team comprised of P&L leaders, supply chain team members, and other critical functions.
  • 10 + years of supply chain experience with a significant depth in planning (demand, material or supply) and contract manufacturing.
  • Deep experience in short and long-term supply chain planning, with expertise implementing or elevating S&OP or equivalent (e.g. IBP, SIOP).
  • Used a player-coach mentality to build teams with bench strength for succession in best-in-class environments.
