Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM-7:00 AMHourly Rate: $22.12 an hour + $0.30 shift differential

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, is looking to add to our distribution center team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. and report to the distribution center team lead.

Starting pay - $22.12/hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate a sit-down, double-reach, and pallet jack forklift to move product to and from inventory warehouse storage and to and from the production lines.

  • Hitch trucks to warehouse docks.

  • Stage pallets and product to ensure efficiency and safety of warehouse operations.

  • Change out forklift batteries as needed to operate.

  • Operate shrink wrapper and install a new roll of shrink wrap film as needed.

  • Operate inventory control devices (radio frequency) to view, track, and adjust product inventory.

  • Operate inventory control devices to perform cycle counts and corrections.

  • Pick full and partial pallets to load and unload trucks and move inventory into/out of warehouse.

  • Transport supplies to production as needed.

  • Learn new procedures, equipment, or operations as needed to perform functions.

  • Record the truck set temperatures for every trailer.

  • Manually document the SKU and number for any loose cases.

  • Verify code date and case count off an inbound truck.

  • Verify code date and case count off of loose cases.

  • Perform duties with speed and precision to maintain schedules, quality, and work place safety.

  • The ability to interact effectively and professionally with coworkers.

  • Safety, demonstrated behaviors in support of company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries.

  • Quality, demonstrates behaviors in support of quality work processes to include Statistical Process Control-SPC, Document & track production variables, downtime, product samples and make adjustments to ensure proper packaging and casing of product to meet quality standards.

  • Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

  • Ability to maintain mastery on all skill sets that the associate has been certified on through ongoing skills audits and rotation.

  • Perform other duties that the Team Leader or Area Manager might require.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 Year+ experience working in a production, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

  • 1 Year+ experience operating sit down and standup double reach forklift trucks.
