Continuous Improvement Specialist

Conagra Brands – Indianapolis, proud home of Reddi Wip, Blue Bonnet, and Smart Balance is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. We're looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join us onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. While primarily working on day shift, flexibility will be required for projects spanning into the off shifts. You will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager, where you will help design sustainable systems, build operational standards, and lead strategic process improvements. Your impact will be felt across all teams as you embed consistency, improve performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
You Will:
Design, implement, and promote standardized systems and processes that inspire long-term operational success.
Develop, document, and roll out plant-wide standards for improving safety, quality, and efficiency.
Teach and coach plant teams in the use of continuous improvement tools (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma), ensuring standard methodologies are applied across operations.
Lead the Focused Improvement pillar team to sustain systematic improvements through reduction of waste with a focus on yield loss.
Coach and support Operations Process Engineers with data analytics, downtime reporting, system knowledge, and leading Daily Direction Setting meetings (DDS).
Manage a Daily Management Systems (DMS) critical to plant success and continuous improvement.
Partner with leaders to embed best practices including corporate and plant standards into daily operations and monitor compliance and results.
Conduct training and develop reference materials to promote standards across all levels of the plant workforce.
Facilitate, track, and communicate projects focusing on cost savings, process simplification, and system / standard creation.
Support food safety and quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulations (OSHA, FDA, EPA) and internal policies.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement roles.
2+ years in a manufacturing or plant-based environment.
Practical experience with TPM, Lean Methodologies and Autonomous Maintenance.
Prioritized safety and quality.
A systems-oriented mindset by creating structure, clarity, accountability, and loss elimination.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
