Quality Coordinator - 3rd Shift

As a Quality Coordinator on 3rd shift, you will report to the Quality manager. You will join a team of 16 associates. Your role will involve acting as a point of contact for QA during third shift operations. Review batch orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, collaborating with production and quality teams to address discrepancies, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with team members, participating in training for continuous improvement, following company policies and safety guidelines, documenting process deviations.
You Will:
- You will work onsite, 12am-8am, at our Jackson, TN location. #LI-Onsite
- You will respond to calls from operations and escalate issues when needed.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections, sanitation effectiveness swabbing, and line approval to release.
- Back fill supervisor role when there are outages and occasional weekend coverage.
- Ensure that all records comply with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements, including FDA, USDA, CA State and HACCP guidelines.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of record review activities, including approvals and rejections.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement programs to enhance knowledge related to record review and food safety practices.
- Document any process deviations and enter them in the database.
- Any other assigned tasks.
You Have:
- Associate degree in biology, chemistry, or related field preferred
- 1+ years experience in a quality assurance role desirable
- 1+ years of experience in the packaging/food products industry desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Prior knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
- BPCS (Better process control school), PCQI (Preventative Control Qualified Individual), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), SQF (Safe Quality Food) certifications highly preferred
Compensation:
Pay Range:$49,000-$65,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
