Business Development Director

- Create and manage business strategies to ensure delivery of the annual plan for assigned brands, including national and channel-specific strategies, tactics, and budgets (Trade, New Item Funds).
- Be the internal advocate for the customer and represent the customer point of view as the Brand, Innovation, and Marketing teams develop their long- and short-term strategies.
- Manage the brand-specific agenda and support initiative prioritization. Develop customer-level distribution and merchandising targets with supporting insights and merchandising activation plans for each initiative.
- Lead and manage activation of insights-oriented strategies (e.g., category, shopper) for national and customer-specific levels. Develop category growth goals, stories, and new item presentations. Facilitate presentation and communication of key initiatives sell-in, develop compelling sales materials, and occasionally influence customers on sales calls. Analyze and summarize results of key initiatives, recommend and make adjustments.
- Provide Joint Business Planning (JBP) leadership and develop linkage as point of contact between Customer Sales, Brand, and Center of Excellence Teams. Facilitate development and communication of JBP opportunities from the field as well as internal Brand initiatives and platform solutions.
- Lead and support customer meetings to enable MAPS and JBP.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Develop, manage, and execute strategic and tactical sales plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence across the organization.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of trade spending principles.
- Involvement with customer annual planning process.
- Experience with, and understanding of, key retailer practices.
- P&L management.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$133,000-$197,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
