Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, you will implement programs within the Packaging Supplier FSQRA group under limited supervision. You will support the execution of processes and procedures and lead daily activities related to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Your Impact

  • You will gather and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for decisions impacting product safety and quality.
  • You will assist or guide others within assigned technical areas to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • You will provide technical and decision-making support, including data analysis, to manage quality and food safety issues.
  • You will collaborate across functions to maintain food safety and quality standards for company products.
  • You will design and implement processes and procedures within your technical area to drive continuous improvement.
  • You will participate on cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of QA initiatives and supplier process improvements.
  • You will interface with company facilities and packaging suppliers to maintain strong relationships and regulatory compliance.
  • You will evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance food safety and quality performance.

Your Experience

  • BS in Food, Biological, or Chemical Science or related field required
  • 5+ years of industry experience in food safety, quality, or regulatory affairs.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, technologies, and packaging requirements.
  • Strong report writing, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of government regulatory requirements in food packaging (GFSI, FSMA, FDA, USDA).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and influence others.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, data analysis, and investigative techniques.
  • Travel 25-75%, independently and as a responsible company representative.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
