- Ensure adherence to company safety policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
- Lead compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, encompassing sanitation, hygiene, and waste management.
- Develop and deliver food safety and quality training for plant employees.
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to strengthen technical knowledge and accountability.
- Manage timelines and milestones for Food Safety and Quality Improvement Plans, including reduction of complaints and incidents.
- Interpret and communicate food safety and quality data, applying corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain compliance with USDA, FDA and other regulatory bodies while serving as the primary contact for inspectors.
- Oversee Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Safe Quality Food certification, recall programs, environmental monitoring, and pest control programs.
- Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to embed food safety and quality into daily production practices.
- Support new product introductions using Management of Product Development and Commissioning Qualification and Verification tools.
- Serve as Food Safety and Quality pillar owner within the Conagra Performance System, applying continuous improvement tools to drive measurable results.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Food Science, or another related field.
- 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing within food safety or quality leadership roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures regulations, process control, and root cause analysis.
- Skilled in interpreting scientific data, regulatory requirements, and performance metrics.
- Proficient with statistical analysis, process capability, and predictive quality methodologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, supporting collaboration across cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing teams and fostering a culture rooted in food safety and quality.
Relocation assistance is available for this position. Preference will be given to local candidates.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
