Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Direct, Program Management, the Manager, Data Management is responsible for bringing clarity, structure, and scalability to Conagra’s data ecosystem by driving data enablement and process strategy initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and process, partnering across functions to document and design workflows, align stakeholder needs, and connect disparate systems into a cohesive and usable data environment.

Operating through collaboration rather than technical development, this role focuses on process design, documentation, and program leadership to improve how data is organized, governed, and delivered. The Manager ensures data workflows are clearly defined, scalable, and aligned to business needs, enabling more efficient, transparent, and self-service use of data across the enterprise.

This role complements existing Data Engineering, Analytics, and IT teams by providing structure, alignment, and process clarity that improves adoption, usability, and long-term sustainability of data assets.

Position Responsibilities

Data Mapping and Process Design

  • Document and maintain clear views of data sources, flows, dependencies, and business definitions.
  • Create and manage data dictionaries, workflow diagrams, and process documentation that translate technical systems into business-friendly artifacts.
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities to simplify and improve data workflows.

Workflow Enablement and Execution

  • Design and implement standardized, scalable workflows that improve the speed, transparency, and quality of data delivery.
  • Define intake processes, roles, and decision points to reduce friction across data and analytics workflows.
  • Support governance and process adherence through clear documentation and operating rhythms.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Requirements

  • Partner with business, Analytics, Data Engineering, and IT teams to understand needs and translate them into structured requirements.
  • Facilitate working sessions to drive alignment and progress across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as a connector between business users and technical teams to improve data usability and accessibility.

Program Support and Delivery

  • Support delivery of data enablement initiatives by managing timelines, tracking progress, and coordinating across stakeholders.
  • Ensure key artifacts, decisions, and impacts are documented and communicated.
  • Monitor effectiveness of workflows and recommend continuous improvements.

Position Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in program management, business process improvement, data operations, or analytics enablement.
  • Strong expertise in documentation, process modeling (e.g., value stream mapping, swim lanes), and requirements gathering.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand system connections and data flow across platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, structured thinker comfortable operating in ambiguity.
  • Experience in data governance, data strategy, analytics, or enterprise data environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with workflow and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) preferred.
  • Exposure to data cataloging, master data concepts, or data quality frameworks preferred.
