Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will partner with Enterprise Procurement, Brand teams, and Finance leadership to deliver insights that support cost savings, margin improvement, and working capital performance. You will perform financial analyses and reporting for assigned areas (material categories and business segments). You will assist in analyzing market trends, material purchasing activity, and pricing dynamics to inform senior‑level decisions, while supporting forecasting, financial planning, and Annual Operating Plan development.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Assist in building material forecasts and provide financial analysis to Procurement Finance and Enterprise Procurement leadership.
- Assess material price variances to Plan, Forecast, and Prior Year; summarize insights and discuss action steps with leadership.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly materials reviews, including coverage analysis, cost‑savings opportunities, and material variance projections.
- Support development of the Annual Operating Plan and management reporting through forecasting system expertise.
- Support accounting guidance, internal controls, and financial policies for Procurement.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of related experience, ideally in consumer packaged goods.
- Communicate insights and changes with clear, forward‑looking commentary.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Experience improving and maintaining internal controls.
- Experience collaborating across departments to complete projects or solve challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
