Senior Financial Analyst, Fixed Assets

Reporting to the Fixed Assets Finance Manager, you will perform analysis and reporting for your assigned financial area with minimal supervision. You will support financial research projects and analysis of business operations while applying strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. You will complete journal entries, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, distribute routine and ad hoc financial reports, and maintain monthly accounting schedules.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Oversee all fixed asset accounting and the SAP fixed assets system
- Provide support for financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements
- Participate in and review period‑end close activities, including identifying and resolving unusual items and issues
- Create and maintain monthly accounting schedules to support balance sheet account reconciliations and financial audits
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Respond to information requests from internal and external Corporate Controller's Group customers
- Distribute financial accounting reports to management and provide analysis as requested
- Provide guidance and communicate with remote team members in a third‑party outsourcing relationship
- Perform general accounting activities in the SAP general ledger, including preparing and reviewing journal entries through the Cadency tool
- Apply professional judgment in financial, operational, and transactional analysis to identify and resolve issues
- Evaluate processes, procedures, and the control environment and develop improvements as needed
- Document and review processes, including desk procedures, and recommend process improvements
- Alert management to situations that may materially affect the company’s overall financial condition
- Work collaboratively with partners inside and outside of the assigned area
- Participate in and lead special projects involving general accounting, mergers and acquisitions, accounting standards and policy updates, business partner requests, and systems conversions
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of business experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, manufacturing, or related environments
- Strong communication, organization, and planning skills
- Proven experience researching and reconciling multiple accounts with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Database experience preferred
- Comfort working in an environment with ambiguity, change, and evolving business needs

Compensation
Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
