Reporting to the Director of Material Planning, you will provide leadership to the Materials and Operations Planning team for Conagra Brands. You will guide a team of material planners, support supply continuity for manufacturing facilities, and drive team development while partnering closely with procurement, supply planning, manufacturing, and brand teams to deliver margin objectives. You will bring strong knowledge of inventory management, manufacturing operations, supplier engagement, and relationship development to translate enterprise strategy into operational results.

  • Provide leadership to direct reports by removing barriers to success and supporting career development.

  • Translate enterprise strategy into operational goals supported by measurable key performance indicators.

  • Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term strategies for material and input planning aligned with business objectives.

  • Reduce inventory and waste while improving service levels across the network.

  • Balance semi‑finished goods and non‑finished goods planning and replenishment strategies to optimize service, cost, and net working capital.

  • Resolve material supply issues through close collaboration with supply planning, manufacturing facilities, and vendors.

  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration while driving change in a dynamic market environment.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve material risk management and overall margin performance for Conagra Brands.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.

  • Seven or more years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of plant operations, material planning, sourcing, end‑user expectations, and material requirements planning processes.

  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, solve problems, and support sound decision‑making.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills with experience working cross‑functionally and with external suppliers.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and effective system utilization.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Compensation

Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
