Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance department, production lines, and affiliated equipment at our Louisville, Kentucky manufacturing plant, where we produce products such as biscuits, hotcakes, and McGriddles. You will schedule work and resources to meet production demands, maintain the preventive maintenance system, and support the plant's safety and uptime goals. You will manage maintenance expenses by controlling overtime and parts costs while ensuring mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs are optimized to support employee safety and environmental compliance. You will work to maximize plant availability, product quality, and cost effectiveness while supporting maintenance and capital projects.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Plan and schedule maintenance resources to meet production needs
Monitor downtime and identify opportunities to improve production efficiencies
Train, motivate, and direct employees to follow safe work methods and established standards
Maintain a cooperative working relationship with United States Department of Agriculture officials
Oversee the purchase of supplies and repair parts, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness
Support and reinforce the plant's safety programs and initiatives
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety regulations and standards
Lead ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography
Evaluate preventive and predictive maintenance activities and frequencies to optimize workforce utilization and improve equipment reliability
Provide technical coaching to maintenance team members and support equipment performance tracking and repair prioritization
Support engineering efforts tied to maintenance and capital improvement projects
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Bachelor's degree in a technical degree program preferred
3 years of maintenance experience required
3 years of people management experience required
Experience in a consumer product goods or food manufacturing environment
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
Read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Write routine reports and correspondence
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form (ie: blue prints and schematics)

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation
Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
