Senior Financial Analyst, Transaction Tax

Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for complex projects related to application of tax laws and to preparation of one or all of the following: Sales & Use Tax Compliance, Sales & Use Tax Audits, Unclaimed Property, Tax Returns and Tax Research Projects with minimal direction. Maintains complete and accurate tax records, prepares reports, and provides recommendations. Minimum 5 years related experience.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Complete state and local sales & use tax filings in the numerous jurisdictions in which the Company conducts business.
- Complete the monthly requirements for Chicago Lease Tax reporting
- Complete journal entries and account reconciliations as required
- Assist with the completion of sales & use tax audits including responding to auditor information requests and completing tax analysis.
- Assist with tax planning involving sales & use tax, and unclaimed property.
- Assist with miscellaneous business filings in various jurisdictions
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or related degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the tax field, with experience preparing sales and use tax returns.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to balance attention to detail with broader goals and time limitations.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough tax research and develop supportable tax positions.
- Proven ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion in deadline driven environment.
- Proven ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven record of good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven record as a team player
- Competency with MS Office software, electronic tax research tools (e.g.: CCH, RIA, etc) and tax compliance software (e.g.: Vertex)

Compensation
Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
