Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will maintain and review technical information related to products, processes, plants, co-packers, and suppliers within established guidelines and procedures. You will coordinate and manage information within enterprise quality systems to support product integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Review batch sheets for recipe changes and innovation formulations to ensure alignment with approved specifications, materials, quantities, and process instructions
  • Support Research and Development trials, implementation of reformulations, and new product innovations through documentation validation, quality system updates, onsite observations, and escalation of discrepancies for resolution
  • Manage packaging changes, including verification of physical samples and maintenance of Safe Quality Food packaging documentation, master carton lists, and case code records
  • Analyze, maintain, and communicate net weight data to reflect reformulations, innovations, and quality changes, ensuring data accuracy and trending insights
  • Partner with Production, Research and Development, and Corporate Quality teams to investigate and resolve quality, weight, and system-related issues
  • Support audit preparation and execution by maintaining documentation accuracy, providing data reporting, and assisting with onsite needs during internal and external audits
  • Develop and deliver Good Manufacturing Practices and net weight training for new hires and cross-functional team members, including creation of Alchemy training modules for weight control
  • Support Quality department operations, including purchasing supplies, submitting requisitions, coordinating calibration activities, and reconciling vendor invoices within enterprise systems
  • Provide support across the department and plant to maintain food safety, quality, and compliance standards

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High School Diploma or GED and 3 or more years of experience in food manufacturing or a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety principles, manufacturing processes, and related technologies
  • Working knowledge of Safe Quality Food standards, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points principles, and regulatory requirements including Global Food Safety Initiative, Food Safety Modernization Act, Food and Drug Administration, and United States Department of Agriculture
  • Experience with batch management systems and understanding of how batch processes connect to plant operations
  • Experience with manufacturing systems such as SAP and Oracle
  • Skill in interpreting and executing process instructions, including ingredient verification and critical control checks
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives such as trials, reformulations, and product launches
  • Operations experience with the capability to clearly communicate process requirements on the plant floor
  • Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, investigative, and technical writing skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality ownership and professional conduct

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.

This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$44,000-$57,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
