Production Line Lead - 3rd shift

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will lead daily line production activities on your assigned line to achieve safety, quality, production, and efficiency goals during overnight operations. You will coordinate team members, support continuous improvement efforts, and ensure compliance with all food safety and operational standards while maintaining a strong safety culture.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Lead daily line production activities to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals
- Coordinate and direct line operators throughout the shift to ensure smooth performance and continuity
- Monitor line performance, identify issues, and assist in troubleshooting equipment and processes
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, sanitation, and quality standards
- Verify production records, quality checks, and documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to safety procedures including machine guarding, lockout tagout, fall protection, and safe work practices
- Assist with shift start-up meetings and communicate production priorities, expectations, and performance metrics
- Train, coach, and develop production employees to improve performance and support workforce development
- Monitor employee performance and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Update and maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost boards and performance tracking tools
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficiencies
- Lead product changeovers, line startups, and process improvements
- Support staffing needs by coordinating assignments and ensuring proper line coverage
- Serve as a resource for employees by addressing questions and resolving operational challenges
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
- Willingness to work overnight shifts and weekends as required
Physical Requirements

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
