Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager at our Council Bluffs manufacturing facility, producer of Marie Callender's and Healthy Choice products, you will support plant operations by expanding the capabilities of the Conagra Performance System (CPS) to ensure delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by identifying and prioritizing loss opportunities. You will lead the execution of processes to eliminate losses while developing strategies to improve organizational growth by reducing non-value-added activities and advancing a culture of continuous improvement.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Lead CPS pillar ownership for the site, including establishing strategic vision and executing tactical plans to deliver business goals.
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to identify, prioritize, and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and lead small projects independently utilizing appropriate Conagra Performance System tools and methodologies.
  • Develop employee capabilities related to systems, standards, and technical understanding.
  • Foster a culture of technological transformation through implementation and enhancement of digital tools.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the facility to drive continuous improvement activities and measurable results.
  • Promote critical CPS concepts through daily coaching, auditing, and engagement throughout all plant areas.
  • Collaborate with enterprise and plant Continuous Improvement leaders to improve standards, share best practices, and reapply key learnings across the organization.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Total Productive Maintenance-based continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related process improvement systems.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems and equipment.
  • Demonstrated influential leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Experience developing both short-term and long-term plans that support strategic vision and tactical execution.
  • Experience utilizing data to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver measurable business results.

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
