Department Overview
The Fixed Income Electronic Trading group is responsible for delivering solutions across Pricing, Trading, Risk Management, Execution/STP, Electronic Trading, and Sales for Credit and Rates globally.
The Fixed income eTrading team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to assume the position of Business Systems Analyst. The responsibility includes a complex and intricate business and technology environment with multiple stakeholders and large scale deliverables while working to tight timelines. The role oversees all system enhancements, large scale project deliverables, and support of our existing eTrading applications.
About This Role
We are looking for someone to provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align with standards and frameworks. You will work in close partnership with our ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

Able to translate business requirements into system requirements.
Review and understand business requirement documents to identify gaps by liaising between the business and the development team.
Work with business clients to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate data requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.
Able to synthesize requirements, break them into logical phases and identify key dependencies required for success; experience with different requirements gathering techniques critical. (e.g., gap analyses)
Work closely with system architects and development teams to convert the detailed business requirements document into a System Requirements Specification document to be consumed by the development team, which may include documents with screen shots, mock-ups, data mappings, etc.Investigate and analyze problems, including the use of change impact analysis on all systems and business areas in order to recommend appropriate solutions.
Able to analyze data and draw conclusions from the data.
Conduct unit, regression and integrated system testing.
Use sample data sets to create prototype test scenarios to evaluate against expected results.
Maintain on-going communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in user training and coordinate the business acceptance testing phase.
Meet project objectives on time.
Job Requirements

Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
3-5 years relevant experience.
Knowledge of Capital Market – Fixed Income is a plus
Project development lifecycle including: requirements, analysis and design, testing, user training, deployment planning and support model.
Experience with planning and executing test cases that confirm business requirements and functional designs.
Proficient with Microsoft Windows and SQL query writing and relational databases.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a comfortable style while working with both Business and technical teams.
Exhibit effective problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated ability to follow up on issues independently and ensure they are resolved promptly, escalating when necessary.
Able to analyze complex issues from multiple perspectives and provide strategic recommendations.
Able to think critically, beyond the status quo, and provide innovative/creative solutions to existing problems.
Strong ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
