DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Warehouse Operator (2nd Shift) to join our Manufacturing Rebuild Center in Edmonton, Alberta.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Under direct supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
Check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests orders.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
Maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks as needed.
Adhere to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Forklift and/or other warehouse machinery operating experience preferred.
Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment
Please note, this is a fast-paced warehouse environment, there will be a lot of standing and lifting.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner.
Please note, this is a second shift position. The hours are 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
