We are looking for a talented Facilities Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing Facilities in Fridley, MN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Optimizing Budget Management : By effectively managing both expense and capital budgets, you’ll ensure financial resources are allocated efficiently, reducing waste and maximizing value.
Enhancing Facility Operations : Overseeing renovation projects and ensuring contractors meet corporate standards will improve the functionality and safety of the facilities, leading to a better working environment.
Implementing Utility Management Strategies : Developing and executing strategies for utilities expense management will help in reducing operational costs and promoting sustainability.
Vendor Management : Ensuring vendors deliver promised services and materials to corporate standards will maintain high-quality facility operations and prevent disruptions.
Staff Development : Coaching and motivating your team, while providing guidance and direction, will foster a supportive work environment and enhance overall team performance.
Delegating Effectively : Assigning work based on employee skills and development needs will optimize productivity and support professional growth within your team.
Maintaining Financial Controls : By managing financial controls and risks, you’ll ensure operations stay within budget, safeguarding the organization’s financial health.
Driving Continuous Improvement : Identifying and supporting continuous improvement initiatives will lead to ongoing enhancements in facility operations, contributing to long-term success.

Facilities Maintenance : Regularly assess the condition of the facility and its systems. Manage maintenance activities and develop preventative maintenance plans using criticality analysis and predictive tools.
Facilities Operation : Oversee occupant services and manage the maintenance contracting process. Develop operational plans for temperature control, lighting, equipment replacement, and more.
Facility Technology Management : Direct and manage facility management technologies. Implement and operate integrated workplace management systems and collaborate on technology needs assessments.
Real Estate Management : Develop and execute the real estate master plan. Manage real estate transactions and assets, and evaluate requirements for acquiring or disposing of properties.
Project Management : Balance scope, schedule, and resources for projects. Ensure that the results and impacts of projects are fully realized.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
Experience:
- Significant experience, including supervisory experience, required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Responsible for the management of an integrated facilities management (IFM) provider
Responsible for leading the development and execution of site facilities master plans
Strong communication and collaboration skills required
Experiencing with a facilities maintenance management system required; 4 years cumulative experience
Industrial facility management or operations experience preferred; 4 years cumulative experience

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
