Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager - Senior

DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily activities of multiple production teams, including managing team members, ensuring housekeeping standards, and achieving production targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to team members to help them accomplish tasks and meet goals; set clear expectations and responsibilities.
Identify training needs, develop, and implement comprehensive training plans.
Champion health and safety initiatives by modeling proactive behaviors and participating in actions to build an interdependent, injury-free workplace.
Lead incident investigations, ensuring accurate root cause analysis and effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Apply continuous process improvement methodologies to enhance quality and reduce costs in manufacturing processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience:
Intermediate level of supervisory experience required, with experience handling a large team of approximately 150-200 employees.
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong team management skills, ensuring adherence to core values in team handling.
Ability to foster and maintain peer group relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: College, university, or equivalent degree required.
