DESCRIPTION
Operate Equipment Safely: Handle machines and production equipment safely in a manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality output with limited guidance1.

Quality Assurance: Follow standard work and quality procedures, such as SPC and poka-yoke, to minimize cost and quality exposures while performing quality inspections1.

Maintain Standards: Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard, maintaining a clean and orderly work area1.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your team and support teams, completing training and personal development to improve quality, safety, process, and material flow1.
Drive Results: Show a high level of competency in core work skills and remain flexible to perform miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals1.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in initiatives to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Promote interdependence by looking out for one another. Correct hazards within your control and capabilities. Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact. Engage in HSE Training. Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections. Identifies and controls non-conforming material. Delivery Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations. Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills. Achieves production goals. Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals. Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair. Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Skills: Have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment, with the ability to operate both manual and automated machinery.
Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in tasks such as assembly, inspection, and testing to maintain high-quality standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the production floor.
Problem-Solving: Be able to troubleshoot issues with production lines and equipment, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams to meet production goals and improve processes.
Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively to report problems, share insights, and suggest improvements.
Adaptability: Be flexible in taking on various tasks or shifts as needed and adapt to new processes or technologies introduced in the facility.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Selection is by interview.
PIV license required
Blockline experience preferred
Orientation is 4 Nov 24 at 2:30pm or 10:30pm in the Blockline Conference room
