DESCRIPTION

Supports the customer-facing sales force through the rhythm of sales, from lead to close. Operates under clearly defined procedures and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Enquiries : Responds to incoming electronic customer enquiries (e.g., emails, forms) and engages a more experienced Inside Sales Coordinator if needed.

  • Budgetary Quotes : Assists in compiling budgetary quotes, including technical data, customer presentations, lead time, and other details for the customer-facing sales force.

  • Customer Visits and Events : Contributes to the preparation, scheduling, and execution of customer visits and events where procedures are well documented and repetitive.

  • Order Processing : Supports the processing of orders, issuing order acknowledgements, invoicing, and shipping notices for simple jobs where procedures are well documented.

  • Reporting : Runs reports on order status, inventory status, and other associated information where procedures are well documented and repetitive.

  • Issue Resolution : Routes identified customer issues to associated teams and follows up for resolution (including shipment and after-sale).

  • Inventory Reporting : Periodically reports inventory/stock levels where procedures are well documented and repetitive.

  • Backup Support : Available as backup support for all branch personnel in the sale of products to retail customers, where tasks are well documented and repetitive.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience:

  • Minimal or no work experience required.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Contract Registration :

  • PO/contract analysis from a commercial perspective.

  • Registration of contracts in Salesforce.

  • New customer creation.

  • Bill to/Ship to creation.

  • Costing as per standard templates.

  • MIS on pending contracts.

  • Analysis :

  • Margin variation.

  • IGAAP/USGAAP closing.

  • Revenue recognition.

  • Sales Forecasting : Collects and assesses customer data from internal and external sources; compares against historical data to create a forecast of future consumption patterns.

  • Sales Pipeline Management : Plans proactively for successful execution of account/territory-level sales strategies and plans based on current pipeline; evaluates pipeline health and adjusts sales strategy accordingly.

  • Sense Making : Develops an intimate understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and buying journeys through diagnostic and probing questions and research.

  • Values Differences : Recognizes the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate/PG with a finance/commercial background.

  • Analytical approach.

  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
