Key Responsibilities:

  • New Application Development Experience

  • Vehicle Level Testing Experience

  • Vehicle Level Integration Experience

  • IQD & IQA Exposure

  • Day to Day Customer Integrations

  • Controls Integration Exposure

  • Aftertreatment Integration Exposure

  • Fault Code Resolution

  • Travel around at customer sites 50 to 75% of the time

  • Electrical or Electronics Background

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develops, updates, and administers department databases, wikis, websites, systems, security status, and technical libraries.

  • Assists with the migration from one technology platform to another.

  • Participates in the engineering application certification process.

  • Monitors and audits function-related activities.

  • Aligns engineering department training and communication processes.

  • Defines and maintains workstations used specifically for the technologies administered.

  • Provides engineering support and administration expertise for databases, technologies, websites, and technical libraries.

  • Troubleshoots engineering system functionality and interfaces.

  • Participates in the development of technologies, websites, wikis, or databases.

  • Ensures installation, set-up, and technical support for new and existing systems.

  • Provides global support for data maintenance and manages global data and supports systems.

  • Coordinates related financial activities such as tracking charges and chargebacks.

  • Interfaces with financial systems; analyzes, compares, and reports related financial data.

  • Initiates, develops, and leads improvement processes.

  • Actively participates in self- and team audits and resulting process improvements.

  • Develops and conducts training programs.

  • Understands the structure of the organization and maintains a strong network across departments.

  • Draws on the network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities.

  • Performs other duties as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engineering Software Application : Supports Engineering Software according to instruction or need to enable Engineering users' efficiency.

  • Engineering Software Certification : Certifies Engineering Software according to instruction or need to enable Engineering users' efficiency.

  • Engineering Software/Hardware Evaluation : Evaluates Engineering Software/Hardware according to engineering users' needs to provide CBSIT with guidance for selecting the Engineering tools needed.

  • Builds Networks : Effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.

  • Collaborates : Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

  • Communicates Effectively : Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Customer Focus : Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education, Licenses, Certifications :

  • High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.

  • Regionally applicable certification or two-year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
