Production Associate - Level I

DESCRIPTION
ON-SITE ROLE
The Production Associate – Level I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machines and production equipment within a manufacturing environment. Working under direct guidance, this role ensures compliance with quality standards, production targets, and safety protocols while supporting team-based initiatives and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
Immediately stop work and report any major injury hazards.
Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
Comply with all HSE standards, regulations, and procedures.
Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Promote interdependent safety by supporting co-workers' well-being.
Correct hazards within your scope and capabilities.
Understand environmental impacts of tasks and work to reduce them.
Participate in mandatory HSE training activities.
2. Quality:
Follow all applicable standard work procedures and quality documentation.
Perform quality inspections and report issues promptly.
Identify and contain non-conforming materials.
Raise concerns to prevent quality and cost issues.
3. Delivery & Operations:
Operate manual and automated machinery to produce or assemble products to specification.
Meet production goals and maintain pace with required cycle times or engineering standards.
Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, including housekeeping and machine care.
Perform routine operator maintenance and equipment checks.
Collaborate with maintenance and technical staff to report equipment issues.
Remain flexible to perform other duties as needed to meet production demands.
4. Teamwork and Continuous Improvement:
Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
Participate in required training and personal development activities.
Actively engage in initiatives to improve safety, quality, workflow, and team performance.

Qualifications:
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production.
May require licensing for compliance with export control or trade sanction regulations.
Experience:
Min. 2 years of experience in Assembly required.
Internal candidates must demonstrate the ability to safely and effectively operate production equipment with direct guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Attributes:
Diploma with 2+ years experience in Production profile.
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
