DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and approve new suppliers, ensuring they meet company and industry quality standards.Lead supplier audits, qualification, and performance reviews.

  • Investigate supplier non-conformances, manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure root cause analysis is conducted effectively.

  • Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering to resolve supplier quality issues and implement robust quality plans.

  • Support the development and implementation of supplier quality metrics.

  • Ensure quality requirements are integrated into project planning and execution phases.

  • Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and risk assessments to support quality compliance.

  • Lead product inspections, FATs, and validation activities to ensure project deliverables meet specifications.

  • Lead and support supplier change management processes to ensure quality is maintained during design, process, or supplier transitions.

  • Onsite job with flexibility of working from home with manager approval

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in supplier quality and/or project quality engineering roles.

  • Strong understanding of quality system management and audit programs.

  • Sound knowledge of PPAP, APQP, control plans, problem solving and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
