DESCRIPTION
Provide leadership to improve the overall effectiveness of the Supply Chain. Leverage electronics engineering knowledge to integrate advanced technologies such as IoT (Internet of Things), robotics, and AI-driven automation systems into the supply chain to enhance operational efficiency. Apply engineering principles to design optimized supply chain processes specifically for electronics manufacturing, such as the efficient sourcing, assembly, and distribution of electronic components. Define and govern processes, capabilities, systems and data for the supply chain function aligned to end-to-end value stream performance goals. Utilize operational knowledge of electronics manufacturing practices, analytics, governance, and quality to sponsor large and complex projects within the function. Drive improvement activities within the function to deliver performance objectives of impacted value streams and improve outcomes for customers. Lead the creation of functional maturity goals in collaboration with business leaders, other functional leaders, and end-to-end process owners. Drive advancement within the supply chain function in order to position the company for sustainability and growth. Create performance metrics for the function that contribute to performance goals of one or more internal value chains or end-to-end processes. Utilize data analytics tools including Power-Bi, Tableau and ML-AI in order to develop, understand, and improve necessary Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Lead enterprise-level governance of functional processes, systems, and data as part of the overall end-to-end framework. Define framework for functional talent activities including definition of global position profiles, required functional competencies, functional learning, and development needs, and recruiting strategies. Lead strategic and change efforts, including development of the functional learning strategy to include experiential learning, networking, professional associations, and formal training courses. Identify growth opportunities for the function to improve outcomes for the customer. Partner with end-to-end process owners and other functional excellence leaders to prioritize continuous improvement activities and efforts for the function. Drive project completion and achieve objectives. Monitor project success measures and improve overall effectiveness of one or more functions. Lead process redesign for the function, and drive key functional processes and practices. Work closely with R&D and product engineering teams to ensure that new products are designed with supply chain constraints in mind. Utilize knowledge of electronics engineering to communicate technical requirements for components, assembly processes, and material handling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Data Scientist, Supply Chain Planner or Analyst, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Electronics Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Data Scientist, Supply Chain Planner or Analyst, or related position. Experience to include: Define and govern processes, capabilities, systems, and data; Utilize operational knowledge of electronics manufacturing practices, analytics, governance, and quality; Creation of functional maturity goals; Create performance metrics; Data analytics tools including Power-Bi, Tableau; Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Define framework for functional talent activities; Development of the functional learning strategy; Continuous improvement activities; Lead process redesign; Drive key functional processes and practices.
