IT Technical Analyst

DESCRIPTION
The IT Technical Analyst provides technical expertise in application and infrastructure systems to support business requirements. This role involves translating business needs into technical specifications, designing and configuring IT solutions, and supporting global users with a focus on the APAC region. The analyst will also be responsible for production support, solution design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 3 production support for HCM Cloud and analytics systems.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
Assist in evaluating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products versus custom-built solutions.
Design and configure applications, interfaces, reports, and workflows.
Develop and maintain OTBI and BI Publisher reports in Oracle HCM Cloud.
Support Oracle Analytics Cloud (OACS) including RPD modeling and data warehouse concepts.
Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries.
Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure solution alignment.
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
Contribute to test strategy and execution of test plans.
Create and maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks for end-user support.
Work with Agile tools like Jira and ClearCase for project tracking and version control.
Leverage analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting and insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Skills and Experience
3–5 years of relevant IT experience in application support and analytics.
Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules: Core HR, Recruiting, Learning, Payroll.
Experience with OTBI and BI Publisher reporting tools.
Proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OACS), RPD modeling, and data warehousing.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
Familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and ClearCase.
Ability to support global users, with a focus on APAC time zones.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Certifications in Oracle HCM Cloud, OACS, or analytics tools are a plus.
