DESCRIPTION
The Accounting Associate - Level I supports the finance and accounting team by assisting with account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and data entry. This role contributes to the month-end close process and performs basic financial analysis under direct supervision. It is an entry-level position ideal for candidates looking to build foundational experience in accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in compiling, consolidating, and conducting basic analysis of financial data.
Prepare basic journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.
Provide assistance with monthly and annual account reconciliations.
Support the creation of tables, charts, and exhibits for financial reports.
Participate in basic accounting projects or serve as a team member on cross-functional initiatives.
Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and support supplier helpdesk for accounts payable.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Basic understanding of accounts payable processes.
Experience or familiarity with supplier helpdesk operations.
