DESCRIPTION
ON SITE ROLE
The Accounting Associate – Level II supports accounting processes including account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, data entry, and analysis. The role contributes to the month-end close process and assists in preparing financial reports and exhibits. Work is performed under moderate supervision with opportunities to support both routine and project-based accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Compile, consolidate, and perform basic analysis of accounting and finance information.
Prepare basic journal entries in line with established procedures.
Perform monthly and annual account reconciliations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Assist in preparing tables, charts, and exhibits for internal and external financial reports.
Support ad hoc reporting requests and less complex accounting projects.
Participate as a team member in more complex financial projects when required.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control frameworks.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- Minimum: High school diploma, completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience in line with applicable regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
For External Candidates:
Some prior work experience or intermediate-level accounting knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn financial systems.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
For Internal Candidates:
Qualification: Commerce background preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Skills: Good communication skills, Excel proficiency, and ability to support accounting operations independently under moderate supervision.
