DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated Control Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in control systems design, implementation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automation, instrumentation, and industrial control systems, including robotics integration and machine safety. This role involves supporting manufacturing operations, resolving breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities Technical Execution & Troubleshooting
Design, implement, and troubleshoot control systems using Siemens TIA Portal , Schmersal Safety PLC , and servo drives .
Perform diagnostics and maintenance on ABB, Yaskawa, and Fanuc robots .
Use Robot Studio for simulation and programming.
Conduct robot teaching, breakdown analysis, and preventive maintenance.
Integrate robotic systems with automation equipment such as conveyors, vision systems, and PLCs.
Safety & Compliance
Apply safety practices including LOTO , HIRA , and machine safety protocols.
Understand and comply with ISO , ANSI/RIA , and other safety standards related to robotics and automation.
Promote a proactive safety culture and report hazards or incidents promptly.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
Use Why-Why analysis and other problem-solving techniques to resolve issues.
Apply cost-saving techniques in daily operations.
Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
Participate in TPM and continuous improvement activities.
Collaboration & Support
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and support staff.
Assist in training and development of junior technicians.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas and service tools.
Travel to customer sites for support and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education.
Vocational diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation (Preferred).
May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
Required:
1–2 years of hands-on experience in control systems and robotics.
Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal , servo drives , and robotic systems (ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc).
Knowledge of automation integration , machine safety , and industrial standards .
Strong logic-building and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
Experience with Robot Studio and robotic programming.
Familiarity with Schmersal Safety PLCs and safety system design.
Exposure to cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
