DESCRIPTION
Note:- Although the role category specified in the GPP is Remote, the requirement is for Hybrid working model from Cummins Pune Office.
Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Experience working as a software engineer such as in a temporary student employment, intern, co-op, or other extracurricular team activities is preferred and includes working in an Agile environment and demonstrating knowledge in fundamental IT technical skill sets and ability to take a solution from scoping requirements through actual launch of the solution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience
4–5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end automation using the UiPath platform. Ready to work in Hybrid environment.
Proficient in UiPath development, deployment, and orchestration using REFramework, Orchestrator, and custom activity creation.
Skilled in interpreting Process Design Documents (PDDs) and translating them into Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
Hands-on experience in integration testing, end-to-end business process testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Strong experience integrating UiPath with enterprise systems, REST APIs, and third-party applications.
Hands-on experience in agentic process automation , designing and deploying autonomous agents that interact with systems, make decisions, and adapt dynamically.
Developed agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain , AutoGen , or CrewAI , integrated with UiPath and Python.
Implemented multi-agent orchestration for complex business processes with autonomous task execution and escalation handling.
Built intelligent agents using UiPath Studio Web, Autopilot, and AI Center with real-time decision-making capabilities.
Designed human-in-the-loop automation flows with agentic escalation and feedback loops.
Comfortable working in DevOps environments with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Active contributor in Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, solution design, code reviews, and iterative delivery.
Hands-on experience in RPA operations and production support for deployed bots.
Delivered automation solutions focused on quality, operational efficiency, and reduced failure points in production.
Experience designing scalable automation architectures using microservices and event-driven systems.
Exposure to cloud-native automation deployments using Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of UiPath suite including REFramework, Orchestrator, AI Center, Document Understanding, and Action Center.
Hands-on experience with Python for AI/ML integration and agentic automation logic.
Proficient in designing and deploying autonomous agents using LangChain , AutoGen , CrewAI , or similar frameworks.
Skilled in prompt engineering for LLMs and agentic workflows, including context-aware task planning and execution.
Experience with Generative AI, LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone) and semantic search for intelligent automation.
Proficient in REST APIs, JSON, XML, and web services integration.
Skilled in working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Temporal, or UiPath Process Mining.
