DESCRIPTION
As a Supply Chain Planning & Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing supply plans for a complex site or multiple sites within a region. This includes managing purchase orders, inventory, supplier performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure production continuity and aftermarket support. The role demands strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage high-volume, complex supply chain scenarios.
Key Responsibilities Supply Planning & Production Scheduling
Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and rough-cut capacity.
Disaggregate demand plans into actionable time buckets (monthly, weekly, product-level).
Manage Master Production Schedule (MPS) and execute supply plan scenarios.
Synchronize production across the network, considering constraints and inventory needs.
Purchase Order & Inventory Management
Create and manage purchase orders based on demand forecasts.
Track order status to ensure timely delivery and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Collaborate with planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Supplier Performance Monitoring
Monitor supplier KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), quality, and responsiveness.
Conduct supplier reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
Internal Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with planning, operations, finance, and engineering teams.
Align procurement activities with production schedules and budget constraints.
Aftermarket Support
Forecast and procure spare parts based on failure rates, warranty data, and historical usage.
Ensure availability of critical service components to avoid delays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM) are a plus.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or production scheduling.
Proficiency in inventory management and materials planning systems.
Experience with tools like Advanced Planning Command Centre, BI Dashboards, Excel, Access, TOAD, OMS, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage complex, high-volume supply chain scenarios.
