We are looking for a talented MEDICAL SPECIALIST to join our SAFETY/SECURITY team at our global company, located in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua (Boulevard Juan Pablo II 1951, Ciudad Río Bravo, Juárez, Chihuahua).
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Coordination of staff (11 nurses, nutrition provider).
Medical care for workplace accidents, occupational risks, general and work-related disabilities.
Management of medical area resources.
Liaison with IMSS, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Labor.
Administrative processes with corporate: reviewing procedures, corporate interaction, and managing the medical service.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Licensed physician (recent graduates accepted), preferably with experience in occupational medicine.
Availability to cover emergencies in any shift (1st or 2nd shift). Overtime paid according to law.
Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills, as this role will interact with all plant personnel.
Excellent patient care and ability to work with different stakeholders: safety, human resources, management, and providers.
Intermediate English required, Advanced English desirable.

Health, Safety and Environmental Emergency Preparedness and Response - Participates and coordinates the emergency action plan by applying relevant regulations and best practices in emergency management to effectively mitigate risk to life and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Industrial Hygiene Management - Designs and executes an industrial hygiene program by managing workplace exposure risks and implementing controls using Cummins preferred methodology and industry best practice to meet regulatory obligations and further reduce risk as low as reasonably practical to protect employee health.
Occupational Health Management - Collaborates with health experts and employees to develop and deliver occupational health programs that maintain and improve safety, health and wellbeing.
Work Related Injury and Illness Management - Communicates and documents work related injuries or illnesses through application of Cummins reporting guidelines and relevant regulations to classify and manage the event and its consequences as well as achieve regulatory compliance; cares for the affected employees by facilitating clinical treatment practices and applying case management processes to restore the employee to his/her normal condition.
Training Delivery - Instructs learners in a manner that engages and adjusts to individual and group needs resulting in knowledge, skills and abilities that can be applied on the job.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Education: BS in health services field (such as Nursing, Athletic Training,
Physical/Occupational Therapy, etc) is preferred
Certification in Occupational Health preferred, as applicable (e.g. COHN)
Intermediate+ English language fluency preferred
Experience:
1+ years of experience in related field is preferred
