The Cummins Service Training organisation in Europe is expanding, and we are looking for a dynamic Technical Training Instructor (m/w/d) in Groß-Gerau, Hessen, Germany. Specialising in High Horse Power Engines and Aftertreatment, you will play a key role in delivering superior service training to our technicians and customers. This position is hybrid, combining on-site collaboration with the flexibility of working from home.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Deliver High-Quality Training: Provide technical training on Cummins products and systems to enhance technician efficiency, repair quality, and customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement: Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating training effectiveness, and customising programs to keep training materials current and effective by applying real world scenarios and personal experiences.
Standardise Procedures: Create and maintain up-to-date work procedures promoting consistency and standardisation across all training programs.
Support delivery of safety training including Lock Out Tag Out training programs (Qualify the qualifier training will be given on required training programs)
Enhance Training Materials: Develop and manage training information from product design documentation and expert insights, ensuring that training materials are accurate and comprehensive.
Improve Training Programs: Maintain and recommend improvements to the training library, ensuring programs evolve with product changes, safety issues, and feedback.
Collaborate with wider training organization, service teams and facilities team to plan, upgrade and design a technical training area suitable for operational excellence.

Communicate Effectively: Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications that address the unique needs of different audiences, ensuring your message is understood and impactful.
Demonstrate Situational Adaptability: Adjust your approach and demeanour in real-time to respond effectively to changing training situations and demands.
Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions and building a global network.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
A degree from a college, university, or equivalent technical education, ideally with a focus on service or engineering.
Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a service-oriented environment.
Solid knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engine systems.Ideally, hands-on experience in field service or as a technician.
Please note: During the first 12 months, a significant amount of travel will be required. As your expertise and confidence in the role grow, the travel requirements will gradually decrease.
