DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Stores & Planning Specialist is responsible for managing inventory, dispatch, reconciliation, and supply-demand planning activities. The role ensures compliance with HSE and legal standards, supports operational efficiency, and drives continuous improvement across stores and supply chain functions. This position uses data analysis and planning tools to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and optimize material flow.

Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

  • Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.

  • Participate in HSE training and initiatives.

Stores & Inventory Management

  • Perform RTV and B-tag processes in consultation with quality teams.

  • Identify and control non-conforming materials; manage discrepancies.

  • Conduct cycle counts, quarterly stock takes (QPI), and ensure data integrity.

  • Manage scrap transactions and legal documentation compliance.

  • Achieve SCM Stores KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Vendor & Dispatch Operations

  • Reconcile OSP (Outsourced Processing) transactions across all vendors.

  • Handle invoicing and dispatch processes for domestic and export shipments.

  • Manage job work processes and reconciliation.

  • Operate pack-ship applications and ensure timely dispatch execution.

Planning & Analysis

  • Perform supply and demand analysis to identify future risks and opportunities.

  • Run simulations to assess planning parameter changes and their impact on KPIs.

  • Align disaggregated demand and supply plans with customer needs.

  • Monitor abnormal demand signals and adjust planning parameters accordingly.

  • Maintain and update PFEP (Plan for Every Part) data and inventory strategies.

Teamwork & Leadership

  • Plan and manage manpower for stores and line feeding operations.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and support functions.

  • Mentor team members and participate in training and development activities.

  • Support improvement projects related to quality, safety, and process efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

  • Diploma in any stream, B.Com, or B.Sc.

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience may be considered.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in invoicing, dispatch, and supply chain operations.

  • Strong understanding of stores operations and supply chain processes.

  • Hands-on experience with pack-ship applications, OSP, job work reconciliation.

  • Proficiency in Power BI and other planning tools.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts and manage manpower effectively.

  • Experience in inventory planning, data integrity, and KPI tracking.
