The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales force through data-driven insights, system administration, and marketing activities. This role involves executing, supporting, and continuously improving sales operations, reporting, and customer engagement initiatives under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities Reporting
Consolidate and distribute recurring sales reports.
Create ad-hoc sales reports and revise reporting templates.
Aggregate data from various sources to support forecasting and business planning.
System Administration
Execute complex tasks using internal systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce, WWSPS, BMS, Portal).
Document and maintain ad-hoc system processes.
Periodically audit user-entered data for accuracy and completeness.
Identify and implement system improvements to enhance data integrity and usability.
Data Analysis (Internal & External)
Analyze external data sources (e.g., Polk, Dodge, RigDig) to identify sales opportunities.
Share insights and qualified leads with the sales team.
Conduct internal sales analyses including variance analysis, projections, costing, and bundling.
Compile and communicate competitive intelligence to relevant stakeholders.
Sales Enablement & Marketing Activities
Coordinate Order Board and Dispatch Detail sharing with distributors.
Organize and support fleet and mechanic meets to enhance customer engagement.
Drive business growth through new product launches.
Plan and execute roadshows, van campaigns, and other marketing activities to promote products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Experience with CRM and sales systems such as Salesforce.
Strong understanding of marketing campaign execution and customer engagement strategies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in coordinating with distributors and external stakeholders.
