Manages a group of intermediate level IT employees
Key Responsibilities:
Participate as a key member of an IT Management Team. Responsible for financial management including AOP, budget management, and forecasting. Responsible for People Management including work plan development, performance management, and people development. Responsible for team building and development including organization structure, recruiting, global team management. Compile and present Management Reports on team performance including metrics, deliverable status, etc. Communicate status to senior management. Accountable for Six Sigma training, usage and goal attainment for the team. Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures including IT Security. Responsible of IT Controls compliance for the team Engagement with customers in their respective function or business area. Governance/Leadership for all program/projects executed or supported by their teams. Develop strong relationships to deliver business value using relevant Business Relationship Management practices.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory experience, required. Broad business knowledge required.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is a critical techno-functional role responsible for supporting and strengthening the Manufacturing and Quality IT processes across the India region. The position ensures smooth plant operations by driving process improvements, managing key quality and manufacturing initiatives, and providing expert support for ERP and digital systems. With over 10 active quality projects and several manufacturing priorities, this role is essential for maintaining operational continuity, compliance, and timely project delivery. The associate will work closely with Central functional excellence and plant teams, across Business units, and IT partners to design solutions, resolve issues, and enhance system performance.
1. Functional Expertise
Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes, including production planning, shop-floor operations, work order management, and inventory controls.
In-depth knowledge of quality processes such as incoming inspection, in-process quality, final inspection, NCR handling, and quality analytics.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and process documents.
2. Technical Skills
Understanding of ERP systems (preferably Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud, or SAP), IIOT, Ignition platform and low code platform
Ability to understand configurations, master data setup, transaction flow troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
Understanding of integrations between manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and WMS modules.
Good understanding of system architecture, COTS application (Commercial Off-The-Shelf)
3. Solution Design & Implementation
Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
Evaluate process gaps and recommend scalable IT solutions.
Support end-to-end project activities including design, CR preparation, testing, UAT coordination, and deployment.
4. Support & Operations
Investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
Continue to improve the business processes by delivering the change management
5. Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely with plant operations, quality teams, IT partners, and COEs.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Manage expectations and ensure end users are well informed about changes and priorities.
6. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare process documents, SOPs, test scripts, and functional specifications.
Ensure compliance with IT controls, audit requirements, and data governance practices.
7. Experience Requirements
Minimum 12 years of total experience in IT and manufacturing domains.
Strong techno-functional background with proven experience working in complex manufacturing environments.
Experience leadership role with strong people manager skills
Analytics and AI experience, certifications will be added advantages
COBOT, PLCs understanding
