DESCRIPTION
Supports the sales force and channel partners through accurate reporting, system administration, payment tracking, and internal/external data analysis. Executes defined processes under limited supervision to ensure smooth sales operations, timely financial documentation, and effective communication with the sales team and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities Channel Partner & Financial Support
Share Order Board and Payment Sheets with Channel Partners as per defined schedules.
Ensure all payments received are booked within 24 hours in the system.
Act as the single point of contact for the zonal sales team regarding credit notes, account statements, and payment-related queries.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and support reconciliation activities as needed.
Reporting
Consolidate and distribute repetitive, well-documented sales reports under limited supervision.
Gather and consolidate data using prescribed templates to support forecasting and planning activities.
System Administration
Perform repetitive and ad-hoc tasks in sales systems and tools such as Salesforce, WWSPS, BMS, and the Cummins Portal.
Periodically review and validate user-entered data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Data Analysis (Internal & External)
Conduct ad-hoc and repetitive analyses using external sources (e.g., Polk, Dodge, RigDig).
Research assigned opportunities using secondary research methods and share findings with the sales team.
Compile competitor information from varied sources under limited supervision.
Execute internal sales analyses (e.g., variances, projections, costing, bundling) following structured and well-documented processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Education, Licenses & Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of secondary education, or equivalent experience as allowed by relevant regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Requires some work experience and intermediate-level knowledge gained through training or on-the-job experience.
Experience in sales support, channel operations, or basic financial administration is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of sales operations, channel partner processes, and payment workflows.
Ability to manage documentation such as order boards, payment sheets, credit notes, and account statements.
Basic financial accuracy skills for timely booking of payments.
Familiarity with sales systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce, WWSPS, BMS, Portal).
Strong coordination and communication skills to support sales teams and channel partners effectively.
